A light and fluffy donut filled with fresh pears and warm spices, drizzled with a sweet vanilla glaze.
Preheat the oven to 375.
Grease the donut pan and set it aside.
Combine the dry ingredients for the donuts in a large mixing bowl.
Add in the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until combined.
Fold in the pear.
Scoop batter into a pastry bag. Fill the donut pan 3/4 full with batter. Smooth tops with the back of a teaspoon.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Remove the donuts from the pan and place them on a baking rack to cool.
Meanwhile, combine ingredients for the glaze in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the donuts and sprinkle with more cinnamon.
Store the donuts in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze.
