The Best Fall Wreaths for under $50
I’ve been slowly adding fall touches to the inside of our home for the past couple of weeks. But we are still having 80 degree temperatures outside, so it’s been a bit difficult to get in the fall spirit there. Besides, I can’t bear to replace my pots that are still in bloom with pumpkins and mums yet.
Even so, I decided to pull out the wreaths I purchased last year on clearance and hang them on our front door.
You all know putting a new wreath on our front door has always been the first thing I do when the season changes. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to put them up last year! We were still under construction and there was no way they would have survived our contractors.
Now that I have them hung THIS year, I’m feeling more of a late-summer vibe than a fall one from the wreaths.
I do like how the white flowers pop against our dark door but I’m just not getting those cozy fall feels.
Oh well, I’ve decided to keep the wreaths up this year. But I think it’s time for a change next year.
Of course, the perfect time to go shopping for fall wreaths is right now because all the stores are putting their fall items on sale!!!
So guess what I did?
YES! I went shopping online and if you’re looking for a fall wreath I’ve done all the work for you!
You’re welcome! LOL!
And the best part? I found not one but 12 GORGEOUS colorful AND neutral fall wreaths for under $50!! Better yet? Some are as low as $30 and I even found one for UNDER $30!

TIPS for buying a front door wreath
- Price- Yes, that’s right. Price is extremely important to me. As I mentioned I have two doors to put the wreaths on and I’m not looking to break the bank. That being said, I don’t want something that looks cheap or doesn’t hold up for at least a couple of years. So I keep doing my research and wait for just the right sale.
Best time to buy: Normally the best time to find fall decor on sale is October. But stores are putting out their products MUCH earlier which means they are putting them on sale MUCH earlier. I recommend checking out your favorite stores in mid-September!
2. Size- Size really does count when it comes to a front door wreath. I prefer a 24-inch wreath for our doors but every door is different. The rule of thumb is that your wreath should cover 2/3 of your door. Standard doors range from 30-36 inches so the wreaths should be around 24-26 inches.
3. Color- You all know I LOVE my neutrals but when it comes to Fall, I am obsessed with the warmer-bolder colors. Gold and Burgundy are some of my favorites but I also adore Burnt Orange this year. Of course, you’ll never see me turn away from my old favorites like the taupes, browns, and greens either. My advice? Choose whatever color makes your heart happy! Just make sure the color of the wreath stands out on your door!
4. Sturdiness- It is not always easy to feel this if you’re ordering online. So this is where I count heavily on the product description. Keywords like durable, maintenance-free, premium materials, and handmade are some that I look for. We have some pretty windy, rainy days in the fall and even some snow. That glorious pampas grass wreath. would not hold up if we didn’t have our front porch to protect it from the elements.
