Friday’s Fabulous Finds!

Hello, friends!

My usual fall allergies arrived this past weekend and I’ve been a bit under the weather ever since.

Thankfully, the worst has passed. And I’m should be back to 100% soon. That’s my hope anyway as we will be visiting our sweet grandson this weekend and I need all the energy I can get! LOL!

Speaking of my grandson…I found a fun Halloween craft we can do together, and if it all goes well, I’ll be sharing it all with you next week! Crossing fingers!

Now let’s get to what’s been inspiring me this week!

music for the soul

I seriously must have been living under a rock, because I don’t know HOW I missed hearing about the AMAZING Christian singer, Anthony Evans! Then one-day last week I saw him being interviewed on his new book and they played one of his songs in the introduction.

The moment I heard the words I got goosebumps and then they cut to his interview and I felt so disappointed. So I quickly went to my youtube music and found him AND the song! I seriously played his song Watch What He Will Do a hundred times, and each time I felt more and more at peace. That song is definitely my new favorite but he has SO many inspiring songs to listen to. I also pre-ordered his book that he co-authored with his siblings and father-Divine Disruption.

If you’re a HUGE fall leaf watcher like me, you’re going to want to save this map!

Decadent desserts

I just put this Apple Tart on my Fall Baking list! If it turns out as delicious as it looks. This just might make our Thanksgiving table this year!

Have you seen Leanne Ford’s new collection at Crate and Barrel! Oh my goodness. There is so much to love! P.S. I can’t wait for her Christmas collection!

Every time I watch one of Stacey’s craft videos on Instagram I’m literally mesmerized. She is SO darn talented and inspiring! You can also find all of her AMAZING creations over on her blog Wilshire Collections!

more of our favorites!

  1.  I ordered this beige leopard print sweatshirt from Old Navy! It’s super soft, fits perfectly, and was under $25!
  2. These leggings are perfect for just wearing around the house or dress them up with a pair of boots and a pretty sweater. Price? On sale now for $8!!!
  3. I ordered a BUNCH of these melamine bamboo plates for when the grand littles come to visit! They are SUPER sturdy, dishwasher safe, and they only cost $3! BTW they come in blue, grey, and beige!
  4. I’ve put this on my dining room mood board. I absolutely LOVE this collection of area rugs!
  5. We bought two of these units for our basement to store items we don’t use often. They were SUPER easy to put together and are VERY sturdy and hold way more than I thought they would.
  6. I ordered these boots because…well they’re ADORABLE!
  7. I’m helping my mom organize her kitchen cabinets next weekend so I ordered several different sizes of these storage baskets! I bought a LOT of them for our bathroom last year and I seriously am so glad we had them for our new house.

my biggest favorite of the week!

Remember that pretty white faux fruit I shared in a previous favorite’s post from Lucy at Craftberry Bush? Well, I FINALLY got around to painting a few of my own faux pears this week! I’m SO in love with how they turned out that I’m heading to a thrift store next week to find more faux fruit!

  1. So many fun links to dive into this week, Christine! I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling like yourself this week. Allergies are no fun at all so I hope you’ll be on the mend soon and have a fun visit with your grandson. Our littles are crazy for Halloween so I’m excited to see how your craft project comes together. Love your pears, weekly menu and fabulous finds. We have several of those black units in our garage and we love them. They’ve come in so handy! Hope your weekend is peace-filled and relaxing. Off to listen to your music recs, CoCo

  2. Thank you so much, CoCo! Yes, thankfully I am feeling better and I’m so excited to see that little man. He’s growing up SO fast! I hope you enjoy the music. It’s becoming my daily escape. Hugs!
