A Simple Autumn-Harvest Tablescape

creating a tablescape with texture, color, and all things fall!

Hello, friends!

Today I’m super excited to be sharing a pretty autumn-harvest inspired tablescape!

Although we haven’t been entertaining anyone in our home just yet, I didn’t want that to stop me from sharing some inspiration!

As you all know, this gal usually LOVES her neutrals and muted tones when it comes to decorating. That is why the base of my tablescape begins with this gorgeous plaid throw!

The soft greys and browns were just what I was looking for and it definitely adds that cozy factor too, don’t you think?

(This throw is currently out of stock but I found one similar here.)

I also kept my place setting simple and neutral too. Everyday white plates on top of the wood-grained chargers I made last year. These napkins with their adorable pom- poms that caught my eye this past summer, and no fuss tableware.

But that’s where the neutral ends, and everything I LOVE about fall colors begins!

And there is nothing I love more this time of year than foraging through our yard, and during our drives in the country, for all the beauty that fall provides.

Leaves, acorns, dried grasses, these are just a few things I look for. I also enjoy going to our local farmer’s markets or produce stands, to pick up plenty of apples and pumpkins!

It’s HARVEST time friends, and that’s what today’ tablescape is all about!

It’s also about that ‘moody’ look I’m crushing on this fall too!

The deep rich tones are so perfect for this time of year, and black is the center of attention with this dollar store vase I made over a few months ago.

Of course, when I decided to fill the vase with leaf branches from our back yard, mother nature had her own plans. She decided it was time for a week-long downpour!

(Affiliate links are provided for your convenience. These are items I recommend and/or use in my own home. You can read our full disclosure here.)

So I improvised and used some faux ones instead. And I seriously just LOVE how realistic these stems look! You may remember I shared the gold leaf branch in last week’s Fabulous Fall Decor Finds @ Target post!

I also added in a few rust-colored aspen leaf branches.

A basket full of apples, amber candles a stray acorn here and there, & these sweet raffia pumpkins make up the remainder of my centerpiece.

Since the table was already set, Michael and I decided to make use of it this weekend, and have one of our favorite cozy fall dinners. I served up big bowls of steaming hot Beef Stew!  It too was filled with harvested produce from the farmer’s market!

Of course, we can’t forget the breadsticks for dipping! You can find the recipe for my Italian breadsticks here, and I’ll be sharing my Hearty Slow-Cooker Beef Stew, in an upcoming post!

And sticking with my Autumn Harvest theme, I decided to share another family fall favorite

Visiting our local pumpkin patch has been a family tradition for years, and I’m SO happy to be sharing it with you! You can download this free watercolor pumpkin printable here, or just click on the photo below!

I printed mine out on 8×11 copy paper from my own printer and put it in this frame I found last year a thrift store. I think this sweet pumpkin patch sign will add the perfect POP of fall color in any space in your home!

Fall is such a beautiful time of year! And I truly feel blessed to be surrounded by bluff after bluff of trees that are just now starting to turn. The colors will soon be magnificent and I can hardly wait. We plan to take a few drives through the country to capture it all, and I promise to share here on the blog!

I hope once things begin to dry out, I can grab a few (real) branches to bring indoors to enjoy. If only for a day or so.

For now, I’ll just enjoy these vibrant faux ones, and leave them on my table for a little while longer!

I hope today’s Autumn Harvest tablescape has inspired you to set one of your own this fall.

Foraging for it can be so much fun and the best part is the whole family can get involved. Besides, it gives us a chance to spend time outdoors, and we all need that! Am I right?

Looking for more fall tablescape inspiration?

Thank you so much for stopping by,
