Am I right?

Good. Because I’ve got 25 delicious and SUPER easy recipes that you’ll be able to make the day ahead so you can enjoy the day stress-free!

25 Make-Ahead Recipes for Mother’s Day!

Main brunch dishes

Serve these main dishes alongside one of my salads, or sweet treats, and don’t forget dessert!

  1. My Puffy Egg Bake is SUPER versatile. That’s why it’s called ‘the kitchen sink bake’. Because, yes, basically you can add whatever you want. Just make sure it has bacon because seriously, who doesn’t LOVE bacon!
  2. French Toast is always a favorite but this one is filled with fresh berries and can be made the night before!
  3. There is something about quiche that just sounds fancy. Don’t you agree? So if you want to get fancy for mom this Sausage and Mushroom Quiche is the recipe for you! Like the Puffy Egg Bake, it’s very versatile, so whatever meat and veggies you have on hand will work just fine. NOTE: I wouldn’t assemble the quiche until the day you make it. But you can prepare the crust in a pie plate and even prepare all the other ingredients and refrigerate until you are ready to assemble and bake!
spring salads

Whatever your main dish is these fresh and yummy salads will be the perfect side!

  1. Fresh tomatoes and cucumbers are the main features of this Panzanella Salad. But it’s the crunchy homemade croutons and herb-infused dressing that will have your family gobbling up the whole bowl.
  2. Broccoli Salad is always a hit at our family gatherings, and it will be at yours too! I guarantee it! After all, my recipe involves bacon. Need I say more?
  3. Fresh cucumbers from the garden will make this salad shine, but it’s a wee bit early for them. No worries. Store-bought will work in a pinch and you won’t even notice once they are covered in my creamy dressing!
  4. Like my Panzanella salad, this Greek Salad is filled with yummy veggies. But this time we’re taking a shortcut and using store-bought dressing. Your family will never know. I promise.
muffins, donuts, sweet rolls, & quick bread

Serve these sweet treats with a hearty egg bake and some fresh fruit!

  1. Notice a theme here? Yes, I’m OBSESSED with that crunchy butter streusel that each of these muffins has on top! Starting with my Raspberry Streusel! Fresh or frozen raspberries are tucked inside a deliciously moist muffin and then there’s that streusel. Enough said.
  2. More streusel-more muffins. Except these are filled with bananas and I add oatmeal and sliced almonds to the streusel. Yes, please!
  3. These Blueberry muffins are always a favorite at our family brunches! There is a reason why. They are SUPER moist, filled with juicy berries, and topped with a sweet buttery crumble. Hide some for later. I promise you won’t have any left!
  1. Brunch just isn’t brunch without a big fluffy blueberry-filled sweet roll! But how about if these yummies are also filled with lemon curd? Um yes!!!
  2. If you’re not into blueberries and lemon, then you really MUST try these Quick and Easy Cinnamon Rolls. Layers of butter, sugar, and cinnamon-topped with a creamy frosting. What’s not to love?
  3. Any donut lovers out there? (I’m raising my hand)!! You’re going to love these Blueberry donuts. Not only are they baked but they are topped with a sweet lemon glaze!
  1. Not only does this bread have fresh blueberries, but it also has bananas too! And almonds and oatmeal. It’s like having overnight oatmeal in a slice!
  2. Fresh, lemony, and SUPER moist! That’s what these mini bundles of sunshine are all about!
  3. Apples aren’t just for fall, folks!  And neither is this scrumptious Apple Fritter Bread!
desserts

No brunch is complete without a yummy dessert and I  have plenty to choose from!

  1. Mini Lemon Cheesecakes are the perfect mini end to the perfect brunch!
  2. Like pie and crisp and can’t decide which to make? This Peach and Blueberry Slab Pie will cover both cravings and more!
  3. If you love Bananas you’re going to LOVE this moist and dreamy cake!
  4. Chocolate, Chocolate, and More Chocolate. Oh and cherries. The end.
  5. This bundt cake has all my favorites and more. Plump blueberries, sweet almond, and a tart lemony glaze. It’s also SUPER easy to make!
  6. Another Bundt cake but this one is all about the lemon.
  7. Need a quick, easy, and OH so yummy dessert? This semi-homemade Chocolate Angel food is just that but it looks SO fancy no one will ever know it!
  8. Peaches and Blueberries make the perfect combo. If you don’t believe me, try this crisp! And if you don’t have fresh peaches no worries. Canned work just fine in a pinch!
  9. Another dessert that looks super fancy but is so simple and semi-homemade too! You can make these trifles in individual glasses or one big bowl!
cocktails

If you’re looking for a refreshing cocktail that your guests can sip and nibble while brunch is baking. Look no further than my Classic Bloody Mary’s.  Not into alcohol? No problem. Skip it and enjoy a slightly spicy Virgin Mary instead!
