A light and fluffy donut filled with fresh berries and topped with a sweet lemon glaze
Preheat the oven to 375. Grease your donut pans and set them aside. Combine your dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, buttermilk, and melted butter. Stir until just combined. (Do not overmix). Gently fold in blueberries. Using a spoon, fill each donut pan 2/3 full. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Meanwhile, combine the ingredients for the glaze and whisk until smooth. Remove the donuts from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the pan. Drizzle glaze over the still-warm donuts and allow to cool before storing in an airtight container.
