BLT Pasta Salad

A favorite sandwich in salad form- topped with a rich and creamy buttermilk dressing!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb farfalle pasta cooked, rinsed and drained
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes cut in half
  • 6 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 cup buttermilk dressing ***

***Buttermilk Dressing

  • 3/4 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk **see notes to make your own
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Add pasta, lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon to a large bowl. Combine ingredients for the dressing. Pour the desired amount of dressing over the salad and serve.

Recipe Notes

*Do not mix in lettuce or bacon until ready to serve. Both will become soggy!

**Add 1 Tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice per 1 cup of milk.
