Patriotic Trifle Dessert

I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!!!

Hubby and I spent most of the day catching up on some projects but we did celebrate later with dinner and movie.

Today we are heading over to hubby’s parent’s cabin for a BIG family barbecue.

Getting together with hubby’s family is always so much fun and since we do potluck there is always plenty of food.

With all the fresh berries that are available this time of year, I decided to make a dessert that would incorporate all my favorites.

As usual, when I began searching for the PERFECT dessert recipe I found myself overwhelmed with all the choices!

But in the end, I needed something simple that wouldn’t take a  lot of time to whip up this morning.

Myra, from the blog, My Blessed Life, had just what I was looking for!
