10 Target Inspired Cozy Fall Finds
A Round-up of my TOP TEN picks for all things cozy!
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I’ve been in ‘prep’ mode for the colder months ahead for the last couple of weeks.
For me and our home, it’s about all things cozy.

Like last week’s Trash to Treasure project- my cozy ottoman that I made out of thrift store finds!
If you remember I found the inspiration for the ottoman while on a shopping trip for all things cozy at our local Target.
I’m sure the other shoppers must have thought I was weird walking up and down the aisles snapping photographs of pillows and throws and yes, those cozy ottomans that inspired the project, but I didn’t care.
That’s what I do.
That’s how I find my inspiration. Because it’s not enough to just look at something online.
Nope! Sometimes I just have to touch it. And smell it. And see if up close and personal.
Which is what I did that day at Target. Sidenote: Don’t you just want to run your fingers through that soft fur faux ottoman! Oh my goodness! SQUEAL!
And sometimes I like to sit down for a spell. I mean you couldn’t purchase this adorable buffalo checked wingback chair without sitting in it, right? Sigh. I did sit in it. For a long time. Long enough for Michael to come looking for me. Long enough for people to start staring ever so weirdly at me.
But I couldn’t help it.
The chair was SUPER comfy, and SUPER DUPER cozy. Sidenote: It’s not on my top ten list because it is a bit pricey but it is on my Christmas list to Santa. I promised him I’d be good for the rest of the year.
These cozy knit pillows were in the same aisle as the chair On sale mind you. They went with that cute knit covered ottoman that inspired me to make my own. And this throw. But I liked this color better. So it went in my cart.
Then I headed towards the bath department because who doesn’t love a good cozy towel or two? But along the way, I spotted these pretties.
There was one pair that had my name written all over them! Can you guess which ones?
You’re spot on if you guessed these cozy knit sweater slippers. Which are just like the pillows and the throw and oh yes that cozy ottoman. Are you seeing a pattern here?
Yes, I’m totally into knit this year. Maybe I’m old fashioned but that look just makes me feel cozy because it reminds me of when I was a kid and my aunties would knit us scarves or mittens for Christmas. They were SUPER warm and super soft and one of the best gifts I ever received!
But it’s not just knitted decor that has grabbed my attention. Or knit slippers for that matter. I’m also enamored with all the knit scarves! I’ve been looking for a colorful plaid infinity scarf online since last year because, well, plaid just makes me smile. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any other than this black and white plaid, so I ordered this one online! I plan to wear it all winter long. Even with my pj’s. 🙂
As you might well know, husbands, (mine) can get a tad impatient when one said wife is taking her sweet ole’ time looking, touching and taking photos of everything cozy AND knit insight. I was seriously on thin ice right about then, but I had a couple more stops to make before I was all cozied out.
Remember the bath department? Where I should have been instead of the slipper and scarf department. Ya, I’m like that when I shop. No focus. Squirrel. I just flit from one thing to the next.
See that sign? Don’t let trends full you. Towels aren’t just on sale in January. Not at Target! And 15% is well, 15% and that’s a whole lot of soft and cozy towel right there. Psst. Just between us…pick these cozy 100% cotton Yorkshire Towels. The whole set was under $40 and they are SOOO plush and cozy you’re guests will LOVE them. But forget the guests! YOU will love them. I promise!
You’ll also LOVE these flannel sheets (I picked up the grey for our spare bedroom). This candle-and tell me you won’t feel all cozy and fall-ish every time you drink hot cocoa or a pumpkin spice latte from this! (Psst-it’s porcelain and only $5!!!) WHAT!
Whew! That’s a whole lot of cozy, folks. But I wasn’t done yet. I had one…okay two, more purchases to make.
First..I just had to get one of these cozy-furry body pillows for those weekend movie marathon nights where I just need to stretch out on the floor next to something cozy. (Oops sorry hubby, besides you I mean.) Sidenote:Â Speaking of Michael guess who asked for one of these on his Santa Christmas list after laying on mine Sunday during the football game!
And finally, this cozy, SUPER warm, SUPER soft blanket that I thought would be perfect for guests (and me) to snuggle under in our family room!
Only someone else thought it was SUPER cozy too and seems to be a bit stingy when it comes to sharing even a corner of ‘HIS’ blankie.
I guess my ‘cozy’ vibe has worn off everyone in our home. Which isn’t a bad thing. I guess.
I mean what can be bad about feeling cozy when it’s -30 degrees and blizzard conditions outside?
I’m definitely not looking forward to that kind of weather just yet, but it sure makes it easier when I know our home will be filled with all things cozy.
So whether you’re looking for pillows or pumpkin spice-scarves or slippers, towels or throws, I’ve done all the research for you! Sure, our local Target store employees probably think I’m a bit ‘out there’, and I’m certain I caused some shoppers to raise their eyebrows a tad, but it was all worth it!
Because my hope is these 10 Target Inspired Cozy Fall Finds will inspire you to fill your home with all things cozy.
It doesn’t matter if you buy new or just dig through your existing stash to find that perfect cozy something. Feeling cozy is what counts.

I like all of these Christine and since being away on our little escape, I’ve been doing my share of shopping. Mostly on clothes because I do enjoy clothes shopping. Sounds materialistic and I don’t even care. LOL – However I drove back home yesterday to get our mail and while putting things away and prepping for our return I started looking around to see how I can update the interior and now this winter I should be motivated to improve our environment. Simple things like pillows and blankets can really make a place feel more cozy and I need to work on that. I love our RV life, however I can see where I’ve just kind of slacked a little as far as making it feel like home. I’m even going to decorate for Christmas a little bit. I believe you’ve helped with this because I so enjoy coming over to see what your doing. As you can see, I’m back to myself and love that you have this seasonal routine to prepare for winter that includes a focus on cozy. Hope y’all enjoy a great weekend. -Carole
Oh my sweet friend, Thank you! And no not materialistic at all. It’s you just taking care of you, and that’s so very important in this new stage of our lives. I do envy your little escape and I’m hoping Michael and I can take one soon for his birthday! A good day or three away from the prepping for winter would do us both good! I cannot wait to see how you add a bit of cozy to your RV! And since Christmas is my favorite time of year I’ll be looking forward to your decoration inspiration too! Wishing you and Robert a wonderful weekend!
I love all these things! Those little slippers are so cute and cozy looking. These might be going on my Christmas list! I’m the same way when it comes to seeing items in person. There’s some things you just cannot shop online for. It sucks that a lot of stores are closing because everyone is shopping online now. I need to actually touch things and make sure I want them before I spend money on them. And don’t get me started on clothes! Especially jeans. I HAVE to try them on first. 😀
I do agree with you, Michelle! All the stores in our local mall in the city are closing or have closed and it’s so disappointing. I too would like to see what I’m buying sometimes, especially if it’s a high ticket item. And of course, jeans too! Thank you so much for stopping by! Your comments always brighten my day! 🙂
