Sweet & Simple Spring Tablescape!

Decorating a spring table with soft pastels, florals, greenery, and a sweet bunny!

Hello, friends!

Today I’m sharing a sweet and SUPER simple tablescape that I made to celebrate spring!

I really had such fun putting it together.

At first, my plan was to set a pretty spring table for when we show the house in a couple of weeks. But then it kind of morphed into a sweet tablescape that I can use for Easter next weekend.

Even though it will just be the two of us, I couldn’t resist! And this garden-inspired table will last even beyond Easter Sunday!

Especially after I found this ADORABLE metal bunny at our local Dollar General!  It was only $4 and there was only one left so I grabbed it up, along with a few faux mini flower bundles. ( $1 each).

I decided to take the mini flower bundles and put them in some clay pots that I recently decoupaged with napkins I found at the Dollar Tree.

TIP: Decoupaging these mini pots took me about 10 minutes! I made six total and used only two of the napkins I bought for $1!! SUPER inexpensive but WOW!

I wish we had real blooms that I could place in the pots. Here in Minnesota, it’s a bit too early for that. But I think I may plant some seeds in these pots to decorate with later this spring and summer! I just LOVE that fun print!

Speaking of patterns…don’t you just love the floral pattern on those napkins?

Would you believe I got them at Target and they only cost $10 for 4!!!

And they are from the Studio McGee collection too! (P.S. I could buy everything in that collection for sure!)

I thought they went perfectly with these sweet pastel bowls that I bought for outdoor dining last summer. They are durable plastic and are BPA free and I absolutely LOVE them for serving up big bowls of healthy salads!

TIP: Layers are key in a perfect place setting. (IE: Charger-Dinner plate-Salad or bread plate and soup or salad bowl.) I also like mixing good dishes, or decorative dishes with simple inexpensive ones!

The rest of my place setting is simple white every-day dishes and silverware. Along with my hyacinth chargers!

Nothing fancy here. Just sweet and simple. Along with all my favorite pastel colors! A basket of greenery and a couple of fresh and oh-so-spring candles!

TIP: Mix quality faux flowers/greenery with inexpensive and you get more BANG for your buck! And trust me-no one will notice you slipped in some Dollar store stems!

Oh and homemade blueberry muffins right out of the oven.  Cause you can’t have a spring tablescape in THIS house without them!
