Happy Monday, ya’ all! I hope you all enjoyed a FABULOUS weekend!
Hubby and I packed up the truck on Friday, and along with Mr. Bentley, made the three hour drive to see my daughter, Mel, son in law, Andy, and of course, this little munchkin, our grandson, Max!
I pulled out my camera on Saturday and tried to snap some photo’s of him with his brand new haircut-(first one). Let’s just say I forgot how difficult it is to keep up with a fourteen month old who has found his legs and has no desire to stand around for a pose!
Speaking of legs, Andy just recently broke his!
He’ll be laid up for at least six weeks, but I must say, he’s gotten pretty good at rolling around in his office chair to chase after Max, fill the dish washer, and help Mel with the household chores.
It still amazes me at how those two not only keep up with that precious grandson of ours, but also their busy jobs, and the continued process of remodeling their new home.
They have definitely been busy since the last time we visited!
The kitchen is completed-and it is absolute PERFECTION in my opinion! Mel thought of every detail, and totally inspired me to get our own kitchen done as quickly as possible!
One of the other projects they just recently completed is their downstairs powder room. Since it is such a small room, Mel decided to to keep the colors neutral, and accent the main wall with stripes!
I think it made a HUGE difference, and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
Currently they are finishing up the living room fireplace and painting the downstairs family/play room, and I’ll share more on that soon!
Hubby and I were so exhausted when we got home last night -all we wanted to do was relax! So we threw some homemade egg rolls in the oven, and ate ice cream while watching a Lord of the Rings marathon!
Maybe I should have checked out these great ideas first!
I’m so ready for Spring…….
I found a TON of inspiration here!
And…..
How cute is this Easter basket!
I’m making these yummies for my next family get-together!
Have an AWESOME day!
Blessings and hugs,
