I’ll admit.  Ever since our kiddos grew up and flew the coop I haven’t gotten into Halloween as much as I once did.
Nope. Â There are no spooky goblins and ghosts here at our house.Â
Or even black spiders and terrifying jack o’ lantern faces.
And honestly, I can’t even remember the last time  I dressed up in a costume!
We always have LOTS and LOTS of SWEET TREATS this time of year!
For the neighborhood kids that come calling-I’ve bagged up a whole bunch of yummy candy. Â
And for hubby and I?Â
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars!
And did I say they were no bake?
Yes, Please!Â
Here’s the recipe!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 4 tbls peanut butter
Instructions

Combine the butter, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Meanwhile, put chocolate chips and peanut butter into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 10-second increments until melted. Stir until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture over crust. Chill for at least 3 hours.
